The Podcast
Televised Revolution produces an interactive weekly podcast that is recorded in Brisbane, Australia.
Hosted by Dan Barrett and Simon Band, with assistance by Dennis Dugandzic, the show seeks to examine the weeks television industry news and provide insightful comment. Sometimes we succeed.
We’ve interviewed a number of interesting people from across the industry. A handful of these include: Shaun Micallef, Ray Martin, Chris Taylor and Dominic Knight, Adam Boland (Ch 7 Director of Morning Programming), Tony Martin, Lawrence Leung, Les Sampson (Ch 9 Director of Acquisitions and Programming), Nitro and Curio (The Shak), and Jeff Lindsay (author of the Dexter books).
We record the podcast at The Edge, a digital media facility that is managed and funded by the State Library of Queensland. Be sure to find out more about this worthwhile initiative by checking out their website.
How do I listen?
The show is podcasted via the Televised Revolution site, or via iTunes.
How do I get involved?
We love to get our listeners involved. Each week we have a weekly topic. Usually we put it out on our Twitter feed as well as via the Facebook group a few hours before we record. So, feel free to contribute. Of course if you just want to get in contact with us about anything in general, just drop us an email at staff[at]televisedrevolution.com.

Watch this space young Anders (young?). It is voluntary, Obama tells us it’s time for change, and we don’t want to appear racist.

The radio show’s ending in two weeks?? What’s going on guys? Is it voluntary or have Zed pulled your plug? (unlikely, I know…)
It’s a great show, shame to hear it’s ending…no reason to listen to zed on the way to work anymore…boohoo. Hope you both do something else together on radio/tv soon.
