they picked some pretty shitty sports for this channel……i mean c’mon im pretty sure not all of australia wants to see bloody homo sports like afl and golf …

Despite all the advertisements highlighting how great the free-to-air ONE will be, Tasmania will be missing out (as will Darwin from stories I’ve read). So we’ve had to endure the bloody sports ads all summer and now we don’t even get the bloody channel.

To be honest, I probably would barely watch the channel anyway, but when you advertise something, and virtually the rest of the country gets it, to stiff a state in such a way is an insult. Sure, sure, blame the affiliate that carries TenHD into Tassie, it still stings like a slap to the face (or pains the ego).

I don’t know if I’ll even bother to check out Tens sport channel, ever. In fact, free tv is really really dead by now, and even shows I used to like feel like their written by Newscorp of Fairfax webbots. Well not that bad..Comedy? Other than watching bruse page talk to Wally (hey wally mate!), would like some larfs…Chasers’ back in a few months at least.

List of my recent disapointments:
Dr Who: had a distinct sharky smell approaching – then Tennent jumped like all the rest

House: guilty of recycling plots, tedious cameron/aussie bloke affair, now whiffy sharkish air around Cuddy’s baby

Lost: Reeks appallingly of fish. Long since jumped, lost viewers with over mystification BS, yet they go with more annoying ‘puzzles’. The boardshorts came out in series two and have never come off.

It’s gotten so bad that that was my ‘must watch’ list. How sad…

Channel Ten have been the only station to firmly announce their intentions for their first multi-channel.

There was an announcement from someone involved with Freeview (I forget who exactly) that said the multi-channels would be rolled out one by one between March and the end of June.

I still would have expected to hear some whispers as to exactly what Nine and Seven are up to by now…

I think its awesome what channel 10 are doing but what are the other channels doing?
