A long time ago, in a galaxy far away Channel 10 miss an opportunity

Sometimes the vision of television programmers astounds me.

The Star Wars movies are among the most profitable movies of all time. Heck, four out of the six films made currently rank within the top 20 most profitable films list (adjusted for inflation), with Star Wars: A New Hope ranking as high as #2. Lucas Films have recently followed the live-action films with the launch of its new animated series designed to serve within the continuity of the second and third chapters of the series. The series is CGI and is an animated series of high quality.

The Clone Wars

Channel 10 have seemingly acquired the series to broadcast. And are doing so on Saturday afternoons at midday. Surely this is a series that could go gangbusters in a prime time slot. Be it paired with The Simpsons on a weeknight or at least filling an early evening gap on a Friday or Saturday when kids are seeking suitable viewing. To just give up and screen it at noon on a weekend? Such a lack of inspiration they have.
