Televised Revolution Podcast – Episode 1 (s02e01)

The Televised Revolution podcast has undergone a refresh.

We’re recording from a new facility at the new digital media creation facility The Edge and producing the show exclusively for online distribution as a podcast. This means that the show will be a little tighter in format and opens the show up for us to include regular segments and a wider scope of interviews.

On this weeks show, the regular panel take to the microphone. Dan, Simon, and Dennis take a look at:

  • Apple TV
  • The launch of The X-Factor
  • Internode announce the launch Fetch TV
  • Japan develops a touchable 3D TV
  • Sponsors come on board for Masterchef Australia
  • Australian content on digital multi-channels may soon be included in Govt mandated Australian content quotas.
  • We talk Emmy Awards with culture commentator Stefanie Kechayas.

Televised Revolution also takes a chat with Bruce Collier, the Acting Manager of ABC’s iView service. We discuss the iView service, its content, and its evolution.

We’d love people to get involved with the show. Obviously you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter, but we’d like you to participate in our new Mailbag segment (launching next week). Please drop us an email with anything TV-related on your mind.
