Doctor Who spin-off series K9 launches on Channel 10

Sure, the new Doctor Who series is set to premiere this weekend in the UK, but that doesn’t mean that Australians have to miss out on the Doctor Who excitement. This morning on Channel 10 we witnessed the premiere episode of the new Doctor Who spin-off series ‘K9′.

K9 is a 26-part children’s television series that has its focus set on the robotic canine from the Doctor Who series. The series was shot in Brisbane, Australia with several exterior shots filmed just a few minutes walk from Televised Revolution HQ.

Televised Revolution had planned to do a review of the show, but then watched it and found it to be a fairly generic kids television show. Its okay. And if you were ten, you’d be pretty well into it.
