Televised Revolution Podcast #101
While every other show, podcast, and website seems to have closed its shutters for a week or two, Televised Revolution still loves ya baby.
On this weeks podcast, it’s a bit of a quiet news week. What we do have is:
- An excerpt of our interview with Adam Boland (though we do recommend you check out podcast #100 for the whole darn thing. It’s a good lil’ interview)
- We explain why Christian lobby groups (Family Voice Australia) are against the new television regulations.
- Note the passing of a well-remembered TV actress.
- TV Highlights
Apologies for the belatedness of making this podcast available. Avatar and a pile of new Bluray discs won’t watch themselves, y’know.
Also, just for a spot of quick promotion:
Natalie, who often pinch-hits for us on the show if one of the panelists can’t make it in, is directing a new season of He Died With A Felafel In his Hand at the Brisbane Arts Theatre. The week-long engagement starts this coming Saturday. More info can be found via their site at www.artstheatre.com.au
4ZZZ, which is goodly enough to broadcast our show every week (Thursdays at 7pm – 102.1fm), is holding their annual new years day countdown. The Hot 100 (in existence well before JJJ got theirs up and running) is just a few days away. It’s always worth tuning in while nursing a hangover. Listen in on 102.1fm or streamed at www.4zzzfm.org.au
