And damn I will be stunned if the theme for this isn’t embedded in your mind for days to come.

I am shocked with myself. I’m a total retro-TV-them obsessive, but I hardly recognised that theme.

The Smoggies theme is another story. Can’t get that one out of my head.

It was a Canadian kids show on ABC; probably when we were about 6 or 7? The good guys were the Suntots who rode dolphins and were kind to the environment. The baddies (who, typically, were so much more interesting than the good guys that the show was named after them) were these pollutin’, waste dumping, treasure-obsessed and very mean characters. I think they all lived on an island and the Suntots always had to stop the Smoggies from ruining the environment. Subtle, hey?
