Televised Revolution Podcast #88
God this has been a great week for television. The pay television sector gets a shakeup and moves into the 21st century, meanwhile the free to air broadcast sector takes a big step back into the 20th century with the return of Hey Hey It’s Saturday.
It’s weeks like this that I love doing the show. The on-air panel remains the same as it often does. Dan is joined by Simon and Dennis. We also welcome Dave to chat about TV pilots with us. Be sure to check out The Pilot Project, Australia’s first TV Pilot Festival.
On this weeks show, we discuss:
*Foxtel: Next Generation
*The return of Hey Hey It’s Saturday
*The pilots for Flash Forward and Mercy
*The Pilot Project
*Channel “72″
*Why Simon is a hunted man.
And of course we have TV Highlights.

Lads, was this was the week you finally tasted the burden of fame? What doesn’t remove you will only make you stronger. All that scorn and loathing… I fear the collective IQ has dropped about 30 points since Hey-Hey scraped out a decade ago.
Won’t help with Simon’s tweeting drama, but consider the 7 second delay for the live show. Zed has a workable analogue device (needing minor repair) in the downstairs cupboard near the toilet.
