About

Welcome to Televised Revolution, a site dedicated to the love of all things televisual.

People often ask: Why television? Honestly, why would anyone not want to? Television is the one great mass culture that everyone has access to. It’s a shared experience across Australia, and in some ways, the world. A person in Dubbo has just as much of an idea what Charles In Charge was as someone in Laos. Does Laos still exist? Probably not. But if it did, I’d put smart money on them being knowledgable about all things Scott Baio.

You can connect with Televised Revolution on several platforms. There’s the blog on the websites front page. We’re on the Facebook and the Twitter.

Oh, and there is also the weekly radio show. Tune in 7-8pm on Thursday nights in Brisbane on 4ZzZ – 102.1fm. It’s streamed online and shows form part of the Televised Revolution podcast.

Televised Revolution covers the Internet, radio, and portable audio. Practically every medium except television itself. Define irony.

Welcome to the Televised Revolution.
