Televised Revolution Podcast – Episode 45

Television. We like it. That’s why we’re back for Episode 45 (vol 2).

We do have a panel line-up change for this week with the lovely Prue Martin (from our sister podcast The 400 Club) sitting in for an absent Dennis Dugandzic. Why? Mostly because we forgot to tell Dennis that we were recording an episode of the show.

It was a quiet week TV news-wise, but there are a few interesting nuggets worthy of a chat. We discuss:

  • FreemantleMedia buy access to the formats of Mark Burnett for the Australian market.
  • Craig Ferguson hits the road to do a series of shows from France.
  • Meanwhile, France is outlawing the use of citing Twitter and Facebook on air.
  • Downtown Abbey rates up a storm.

And much, much more.

As always, we look forward to receiving your mail and check us out on the Twitter / Facebook. You can also find the podcast on iTunes (please leave us a review, it helps people find the show).

The podcast can be downloaded and listened to HERE.

Content Director at Televised Revolution

Dan Barrett is the Content Director of Televised Revolution. His musings on television have been heard across ABC Radio, on websites like The Guardian and Crikey, and drunkenly in pubs across the country. At night he spends too many hours watching repeats of Cheers.
