Televised Revolution: In Review – Episode 5

There are some amazingly good TV shows on the air currently, with a new one joining their stable this week.

Veep made its premiere on HBO. The show, a spin-off of sorts from the UK series The Thick Of It, stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the US Vice President. It’s biting, potty-mouthed, and ridiculously funny. What did we think about it? Listen in.

Also up for discussion is:

  • Community (S03E16)
  • The Office (S08E21)
  • Parks & Recreation (S04E19)

The panel also take some time to discuss some of the shows they’ve enjoyed from the US channel Fox, which celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Content Director at Televised Revolution

Dan Barrett is the Content Director of Televised Revolution. His musings on television have been heard across ABC Radio, on websites like The Guardian and Crikey, and drunkenly in pubs across the country. At night he spends too many hours watching repeats of Cheers.
