Televised Revolution: In Review – Episode 4

We take our focus somewhere more specific this week. With so much discussion about the new TV show Girls around, we take a look at the pilot of the series. Opinions are mixed on whether we liked it, but it’s certainly a smart show that has us all talking. Dave also runs us through the Ricky Gervais show Derek. Is it a pilot? Is it a one-off special?

Our attention turns to weighty issues, such as whether TV is better than film. Also, the panel recall TV shows they have recommended to friends over the years and just how those recommendations have gone.

We love to hear back from you on the podcast and your own take on what we’ve chatted about, so please leave some comments, drop us an email, and leave some comments on the iTunes. We’d appreciate it.

Content Director at Televised Revolution

Dan Barrett is the Content Director of Televised Revolution. His musings on television have been heard across ABC Radio, on websites like The Guardian and Crikey, and drunkenly in pubs across the country. At night he spends too many hours watching repeats of Cheers.
